We were just talking about it, then the notice came in the mail for the Motorcycle Challenge at Bandimere.  It is time to let your motorcycle run wide open! 

Come out and participate with your fellow PDMR members and have a blast. If you never bracket raced before it really is a blast. Even if you don't want to race come out and cheer on your friends and family on a fall Sunday. Let me know if you plan on coming so we can plan accordingly. 

If you are interested but you have questions on how all this works, call or email Daren Fields and he will make sure you get the information you need to go racing! 

Most motorcycles will pass tech inspection if they are in the OEM condition. If your M/C runs slower than 10.99 seconds or slower than 120 MPH in the 1/4 mile they will check for a valid state issued drivers license and the following items. 

• A Snell (2010 or newer) certified full coverage helmet with original face shield (no goggles permitted)
• Leather jacket or abrasion resistant SFI spec racing style jacket mandatory
• Leather gloves with Kevlar lining or slide buttons on the palm/heel area required (last time they only wanted to see that you had a good leather pair of gloves)
• Leather riding boots which cover the ankle area mandatory

STREET BIKE CLASS - Two classes:

• BRACKET 1 - 7.50-12.50 seconds
• BRACKET 2 - 12.51 & Slower (most V Twins)
• Must have DOT tires.  Any exhaust permitted.
• Trophies to winner, runner-up, semi-finalists, and quarter-finalists.
