2019 VMC V2V Victory Highway Relay Registration

Our ride will start at the Comfort Inn (1417 Barlow Road, Fort Morgan, CO 80701) in Ft. Morgan, CO and we will ride to Craig, CO > Route

This year’s leg will take us north from previous years.  The main route will take us west from Ft. Morgan along Hwy 34 through Greely and Ft. Collins, CO.  From there we will head north along Hwy 287 to Laramie, WY.  In Laramie, we will take Wyoming Hwy 130, Snowy Ridge Rd., through the Medicine Bow-Route National Forest until it ends at Hwy 230.  After going south for about 10 miles to Riverside, WY, we’ll take Hwy 70 to Baggs, WY.  From there we head south back into Colorado for about 40 miles and end in Craig, CO.

The first part of Snowy Ridge Rd. is pretty simple.  It’s not until we get into Medicine Bow-Route National Forest that we’ll experience the twisties and where the hills and trees get right up next to the road.

NOTE 1:  If you are not able to move on to Utah, there are some folks who are planning on riding from Ft. Morgan to Craig and then back to the Springs on the same day (30 June 2019).  For details, see Event V2V Leg 9 for PDMR Riders who Can't Stay in Craig (30 June 2019)
